Privacy Policy
What this site records about visitors, and what it does not.
Last reviewed: 27 October 2026. This policy covers blog.savingsalgorithm.com. Purchases are completed on a separate checkout surface with its own terms.
Information we collect
The blog has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter form on this domain and no contact form, so you can read every guide without giving us anything. Beyond that, two things may record data:
- Analytics. This site is set up for measurement. If a page-level analytics tag is active, it collects standard usage data - pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, referring site, and an identifier used to count a visit as one visit. Until the site owner installs a measurement ID, the analytics tag on these pages is inert and loads nothing.
- Server and CDN logs. Like any hosted site, the network serving it records request metadata such as IP address, timestamp and the requested path, for security and operational purposes.
Cookies
If analytics is enabled, it sets or reads a cookie or equivalent identifier used to distinguish one visit from another. There are no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels and no third-party marketing scripts on these pages.
How we use information
Aggregate only: to see which guides are read, which are abandoned halfway, and whether traffic is growing. We do not sell visitor data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Disclosure and affiliate links
Links on this site point to our own products. If a third-party or affiliate link is ever added to an article, that article will say so at the top of the page - the disclosure will live with the article, not be buried here.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Retention and your rights
Analytics data is retained under the settings chosen in the analytics tool. You can ask what we hold about you and request deletion through the contact route on the About page. If you are in a region with specific rights - the EEA or UK under GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA - those rights apply to whatever data is collected here, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the review date above changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
